Edit to add:
I would love to see a CO turn up in leather.....
i was told by my former book-study conductor recently that a new 'dress code' had been handed down by the wts, because people had been 'getting too casual' with their styles of clothing.
one item he mentioed was a new rule for women prohibiting denim skirts.
and, when a woman wore a denim jacket, she was also told this was not appropriate for the kh.

my english neighbor (arrived here from essex, is there really such a place?
) always makes those comments about our kids, our car, and so on even made fun out of me when i told him we used to be witnesses.
until I heard him interact with his friends and realized that is the way they joke around, relate, tease each other. (They routinely referred to each other as C#nts, which is a HUGE no no in our culture).
Wow…who would have guessed…..that’s exactly how I routinely refer to Scotsmen, which is no big deal in English culture either….although we don’t often say it as a joke…….

Essex boys can be a bit like that…..Just remember an old saying…..
"It’s not always those that know the most that have the most to say, and it’s not always those that have the most that give the most away….."

Always makes those comments about our kids, our car, and so on even made fun out of me when I told him we used to be witnesses. And when I ask him what he means he goes “nothing just a friendly observation” It is always a friendly observation and it is driving me crazy.
What kind of comments......??? Might just be English humor........
